Detecting Condition
No NE signal to Engine Control Module for 0.3 seconds or more at 1,500 rpm or more.
or
No G signal to Engine Control Module while NE signal is input 4 times with engine speed between 500 rpm and 4,000 rpm.

Trouble Area
- Open or short in NE circuit.
- Distributor.
- Engine Control Module.
