Distributor: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The distributor houses the three pickup coils.

OPERATION

Ignition System Circuits:

The 3 pickup coils provide the ECM with the following signals:
^ The G1 and G2 coils provides the camshaft position signal.
^ The Ne coil provides the crankshaft position and engine speed signals.
