Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Testing and Inspection

NOTE: The intake air temperature sensor is an integral part of the volume air flow (VAF) meter and cannot be serviced separately.

ON-VEHICLE - THA TERMINALS RESISTANCE INSPECTION



1. DISCONNECT THE VAF METER CONNECTOR.



2. USING AN OHMMETER, MEASURE THE RESISTANCE BETWEEN TERMINALS THA AND E2.

VAF Meter Terminal Values:

^ If the resistance is not as specified, replace the VAF meter.
3. RECONNECT THE VAF METER CONNECTOR.
