PIO/DIO A/C INSTALLATION ON '91-'93 TERCEL/PASEO
The VSV bracket and hoses must be positioned correctly when installing the PIO/DIO Air Conditioning kit on a '91-'93 Paseo/Tercel. Incorrect installation can lead to contact between the suction tube and the VSV bracket or contact between the suction tube and the VSV vacuum hoses (see figures).

CORRECT INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:
1. Tercel/Paseo - Align the VSV bracket. Insure that the VSV bracket is fully rotated clockwise until the tab on the bracket contacts the engine mount when tightening the bolt. This will prevent contact between the VSV bracket and the suction hose.
2. Tercel - VSV vacuum hose routing. Vacuum hoses should be routed directly to the vehicles VSV as shown in Figure 2 above to insure sufficient clearance between the suction/liquid tubes and the VSV hoses.
