EGR Valve: Service and Repair

REMOVAL:

EGR Hoses:

1. Disconnect vacuum hose from EGR valve.

Removing EGR Valve:

2. Remove four bolts, EGR valve, pipe assembly and two gaskets.


INSTALLATION:


1. Install two new gaskets, EGR valve and pipe with four bolts.
Torque Value:
Intake Side 14 ft.lb (19 Nm)
Cylinder Head Side 19 ft.lb (25 Nm)

2. Connect vacuum hose to EGR valve.
