Neutral Safety Switch: Adjustments

Fig. 5 Neutral Start Switch Adjustment:

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Disconnect shift control cable from shift lever, then loosen neutral safety switch bracket bolt.
3. Position transmission shift lever into Neutral.
4. Align switch shaft groove with neutral base line, then retighten switch bracket bolt, Fig. 5.
5. Connect electrical connector to switch.
