Fluid Level Check

Use DEXRON II transaxle fluid.

1. Start engine, allow transaxle fluid to reach 158-176°F.
2. Position vehicle on level surface, then set parking brake.
3. With engine idling, brake pedal depressed, move shift lever through all positions.
4. Remove transaxle dipstick, wipe clean, then replace.
5. Remove dipstick again, check fluid at HOT level.
6. Dry fill capacity is 8.5 US quarts.
