Powertrain Management: Locations

Component Locations - Engine Sensors And Actuators:

AIR CONTROL VALVE (ACV)
Mounted to the right side of the intake manifold.

CIRCUIT OPENING RELAY
Located in the center console, next to the ECU.

COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR
Threaded into the cylinder head, near the distributor.

ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT
Located behind the center console.

EGR VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE (VSV)
Mounted to a bracket near the right strut tower.

EGR TEMPERATURE SENSOR
Mounted on the EGR valve on the intake manifold.

FUEL PRESSURE VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE (VSV)
Mounted to a bracket near the right strut tower.

INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR
Mounted to the rear of the air cleaner box.

MAIN RELAY
Located in the relay box near the battery.

OXYGEN SENSOR
Threaded into the exhaust pipe just below the manifold.

THROTTLE OPENER VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE (VSV)
Mounted to a bracket near the right strut tower.

VACUUM SENSOR
Mounted to the center of the firewall, in the engine compartment.
