SUBJECT: SPECIAL SERVICE CAMPAIGN - M02 (COROLLA CERTIFICATION REGULATION LABELS)


Toyota will initiate a special service campaign to replace the certification regulation labels on certain 1992 Toyota Corollas. The original labels contain incorrect vehicle weight information.

The following information is provided to inform you and your staff of the campaign schedule and your degree of involvement required:

1. Dealer, Owner Notification

^ Dealer notification package mailing date: November 22, 1991


^ Owner notification letter mailing date: November 27, 1991


2. Number of Vehicles Involved in Your Region

^ Nationally, there are approximately 670 total vehicles involved. Please refer to the enclosed SSC M02 summary report, by region/district/dealer. The list indicates the number of vehicles involved in this campaign in your region.

^ This list may be utilized by your staff for future follow-up.

^ The correct labels are being mailed directly to the owners. Please instruct your dealers to replace the label for them.


Please review this entire special service campaign package with your staff and make sure that all appropriate personnel are completely familiar with its contents so that they may provide the necessary support to your dealers and maximize our combined customer satisfaction efforts.
