EGR Backpressure Transducer: Description and Operation

Vacuum Modulator:

PURPOSE
The vacuum modulator regulates vacuum allowed to the EGR valve.


OPERATION
The modulator senses exhaust pressure and controls EGR vacuum feed based on engine load.
