Vacuum Sensor

Vacuum Sensor Connector Identification:

Inspect Power Source Voltage Of Vacuum Sensor
- Disconnect the vacuum sensor connector.
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Using a voltmeter measure the voltage between connector terminals VCC and E2 of the wiring harness side.

Voltage: 4.76-5.25 V

- Reconnect the vacuum sensor connector.

Vacuum Sensor Inspection:

Inspect Power Output Of Vacuum Sensor
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Disconnect the vacuum hose on the air intake chamber side.
- Connect a voltameter to terminals PIM and E2 of the ECU. and
- measure the output voltage under ambient atmospheric pressure.
- Apply vacuum to the vacuum sensor in 13.3 kPa (100mm Hg, 3.94 in.Hg) segments to 66.7 kPa (500 mm Hg, 19.69 in.Hg).
- Measure the voltage drop for each segment.
