1. Inspect wheel speed sensor.
a. Remove the inner fender shield.
b. Disconnect the speed sensor connector.
c. Measure the resistance between terminals and refer to SPECIFICATIONS .
d. Check for no continuity between each terminal and sensor body.
e. Connect the speed sensor connector.
f. Install the inner fender shield.
2. Check that the sensor installation bolt is tightened properly. If not tighten the bolt.
3. Visually inspect sensor rotor serrations.
a. Remove the drive shaft.
b. Inspect the sensor rotor serrations for scratches, cracks, warps, or missing teeth.
c. Install the drive shaft.
