Clutch: Service and Repair

1. Remove transaxle as described under MANUAL TRANSAXLE/COMPONENT REPLACEMENT AND REPAIR PROCEDURES/TRANSAXLE.
2. Loosen pressure plate attaching bolts one turn at a time, then remove bolts, pressure plate and clutch disc.
3. Install new clutch disc and pressure plate assembly, ensuring disc and plate are properly aligned. Tighten attaching bolts one turn at a time while ensuring clutch disc and pressure plate remain aligned. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS/MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS/TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS for torque values.
4. Install transaxle. Bleed system and adjust clutch pedal as previously described.
