Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Testing and Inspection

Intake Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Test:

1. Disconnect the connector at the THA.
2. Using an Ohmmeter, measure the resistance across the terminals of the THA.

Testing THA Sensor Resistance:

3. Compare the readings with the Ambient Temperature Chart.

Intake Air Temperature Sensor (THA):

4. If not within specified range, replace the Air Temperature Sensor.
5. Reconnect the THA connector.
