Computers and Control Systems: Locations

CEC Component Locations:

Electronic Control Unit (ECU)
The ECU is located in the rear of the vehicle behind the luggage compartment trim panel.

Diagnostic Check Connector
The diagnostic check connector is located in the left front corner of the engine compartment.

Air Flow Meter
The air flow meter is located in the left rear corner of the engine compartment.

Idle Speed Control (ISC) Valve
The ISC valve is located on the throttle body.

Oxygen Sensor
The oxygen sensor is located in the lower right side of the engine compartment in the exhaust pipe.

EGR Temperature Sensor (Calif. only)
The EGR temperature sensor is located at the right rear of the engine adjacent to the EGR valve.

Fuel Pressure Vacuum Switching Valve
The fuel pressure VSV is located on the right front corner of the engine.

EGR Vacuum Switching Valve
The EGR VSV is located in the left rear corner of the engine compartment.

Knock Sensor
The knock sensor is on the side of the engine near the intake manifold.

Supercharger Relay

Supercharger Relay Location:

The supercharger relay is located in the front of the luggage compartment, next to the ECU.
