Fig. 20 Exploded View Of Disc Brake Assembly. MR2 1989 & 1992 w/5S-FE:

1. Raise and support vehicle and remove wheel and tire assembly.
2. Reinstall two wheel lug nuts to retain disc.
3. Remove two attaching bolts and the caliper from the torque plate, Fig. 20.
4. Remove brake pads, anti-squeal shims, pad wear indicator plates and support plates.
5. Reverse procedure to install, torquing caliper attaching bolts to 18 ft. lbs.
