Computers and Control Systems: Locations

CEC Component Locations:

Electronic Control Unit (ECU)
The ECU is located in the rear of the vehicle behind the luggage compartment trim panel.

Diagnostic Check Connector
The diagnostic check connector is located in the left front corner of the engine compartment.

Air Flow Meter
The air flow meter is located in the left rear corner of the engine compartment.

Idle-up Vacuuum Switching Valve
The Idle-up VSV is located in the left, rear of the engine compartment.

Oxygen Sensor
The oxygen sensor is located in the lower right side of the engine compartment in the exhaust pipe.

EGR Temperature Sensor (Calif. only)
The EGR temperature sensor is located at the right rear of the engine adjacent to the EGR valve.

Variable Induction Vacuum Switching Valve
The Variable Induction VSV is located on the RH side of the engine.
