Fan Relay Number 3

Relay Locations:

1. Remove cover of relay box.
2. Remove relay.

Condenser Fan Relay Number 3 Terminal ID:

3. Inspect power source line to connector. Check the power source line between terminal 1 of the wiring connector and body ground, and between terminal 2 and body ground.

Condenser Fan Relay Number 3 Testing:

4. Inspect relay continuity.
a. Check that there is continuity between terminals 1 and 3.
b. Check that there is no continuity between terminals 2 and 4.
If continuity is not as specified, replace the relay.

Condenser Fan Relay Number 3 Testing:

5. INSPECT RELAY OPERATION
a. Apply battery voltage across terminals 2 and 4.
b. Check that there is continuity between terminals 1 and 3.
If operation is not as specified, replace the relay.
