Fan Relay Number 2

Relay Locations:

1. Remove relay box cover and remove relay.

Condenser Fan Relay Number 2 Terminal ID:

2. Inspect power source line to connector. Check the power source line between terminal 6 of the wiring connector and body ground, and between terminal 2 and body ground.
3. Check the ground connection between terminal 3 of the wiring connector and body ground.

Condenser Fan Relay Number 2 Testing:

4. Inspect relay continuity.
a. Check that there is continuity between terminals 6 and 2.
b. Check that there is continuity between terminals 1 and 3
c. Check that there is continuity between terminals 1 and 4
If continuity is not as specified, replace relay.

Condenser Fan Relay Number 2 Testing:

5. Inspect relay operation.
a. Apply battery voltage across terminals 6 and 2.
b. Check that there is NO continuity between terminals 1 and 3
c. Check that there is continuity between terminals 1 and 4
If continuity is not as specified, replace relay.
