Blower Speed Control Relay Internal Schematic:

Inspection

Blower Speed Control Relay "A" Testing:

Relay "A" Continuity

1. Check that there is continuity between terminals 5 and 7
2. Check that there is "NO" continuity between terminals 3 and 4.
3. If continuity is not as specified, replace relay.

Blower Speed Control Relay "A" Testing:

Relay "A" Operation

1. Apply battery voltage accross terminals 5 and 7.
2. Check that there is continuity between terminals 3 and 4.
3. If operation is not as specified, replace relay.

Blower Speed Control Relay "B" Testing:

Relay "B" Continuity

1. Check that there is continuity between terminals 5 and 8
2. Check that there is "NO" continuity between terminals 2 and 3.
3. If continuity is not as specified, replace relay.

Blower Speed Control Relay "B" Testing:

Relay "B" Operation

1. Apply battery voltage accross terminals 5 and 8.
2. Check that there is continuity between terminals 2 and 3.
3. If operation is not as specified, replace relay.

Blower Speed Control Relay "C" Testing:

Relay "C" Continuity

1. Check that there is continuity between terminals 5 and 6
2. Check that there is "NO" continuity between terminals 1 and 3.
3. If continuity is not as specified, replace relay.

Blower Speed Control Relay "C" Testing:

Relay "C" Operation

1. Apply battery voltage accross terminals 5 and 6.
2. Check that there is continuity between terminals 1 and 3.
3. If operation is not as specified, replace relay.
