Computers and Control Systems: Locations

CEC Component Locations:

Air Flow Meter
The air flow meter is located on the left side of the engine compartment in front of the strut tower.

Circuit Opening Relay
Located in center dash, just under ECU.

Coolant Temperature Sensor
Located at the water inlet housing.

Diagnostic Check Connector
The diagnostic connector is located on the left side of the engine compartment between the master cylinder and the strut tower.

ECU
Located in center dash.

ECU Input Switches
Neutral Start and A/C Compressor switches.
The Neutral Start Switch is located at the forward left side of engine compartment, on the transaxle.
The A/C Switch is the a/c control switch on the control panel and is an input to the a/c amplifier.

EGR Gas Temperature Sensor (Calif. only)
Located at the EGR valve on the intake manifold side.

Fuses And Fusible Links

Location Of Fuses And Fusible Links:

Idle Speed Control (ISC) Valve
The idle speed control valve is located on the throttle body.

Intake Air Temperature Sensor
The intake air temperature sensor is located in the airflow meter.

Oxygen Sensor
The oxygen sensor is located in the exhaust manifold.

Sub Oxygen Sensor (Calif. Only)
The Sub oxygen sensor is located past the TWC on Calif. Vehicles.

Throttle Position Sensor
The throttle position sensor is located on the throttle body.

Vehicle Speed Sensor
Located behind the instrument panel.
