Refrigerant Volume

Fig. 1 Refrigerant charge indication chart:

1. Run engine at approximately 900-1,000 rpm.
2. Operate air conditioner at maximum cooling for a few minutes with lever set at RECIRC.
3. Check the amount of refrigerant against the chart, by observing the sight glass on the receiver.
