TITLE A131# AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE INTERCHANGEABILITY
This Service Bulletin has been prepared to assist you in identifying the three types (A, B, & C) of A131# automatic transaxle/cases used.
When transaxle assemblies/cases require replacement, you may receive "A" or "C" type (depending on current availability of parts).
EXAMPLE:
If you order "A" type and the stock has become depleted you will receive from the parts depot a parts supersession sheet. This sheet will contain the part numbers of the "C" type case and all required attaching hardware. A second order using the new part numbers will be required. (See application chart on page 3 for details)
^ The different designs of the automatic transaxle cases used are classified as A, B, or C type.
^ The shape, production range, part number and interchangeability are as follows:

^ During the month of March there is the possibility of two types of transmission in the Corolla: "A" or "B" type.
