INSPECTION OF EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR) GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR






INSPECT EGR GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR.






Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

Resistance:
69.40 - 88.50 k-ohms at 50°C (112°F)
11.89 - 14.37 k-ohms at 100°C (212°F)
2.79 - 3.59 k-ohms at 150°C (302°F)

If the resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.
