SUBJECT: AUDIO UPGRADE PROGRAM
In support of the Toyota Audio Upgrade Program TMS Warranty is pleased to advise you that both warranty policy and audio exchange procedures remain unchanged. Upgrades are applicable to new, unretailed, 1988 units only. The warranty for these upgrades on 1988 model vehicles is 36 months/36,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
The warranty exchange program for the upgrade units will operate the same as the current program (for details please sos pages 5-36 to 5-38 in the 1988 Toyota Policy and Procedures Manual). Upgrade audio units will be exchanged for the same upgrade level unit (not the model's original base unit). Please be advised that the warranty exchange program cannot be used to upgrade an audio unit.
