Fuel Pressure Release: Service and Repair

FUEL PRESSURE RELEASE
- Disconnect the battery negative cable.
- Place a suitable container or shop towel under the cold start injector.
- Disconnect the wiring connector from the cold start injector.

7M-GE:

7M-GTE:

- Slowly loosen the union bolt of the cold start injector tube.

- After fuel pressure is released, re-tighten union bolt.
Torque union bolts to 19 - 25 ft.lbs. (2.5 - 3.5 kg.m)

- Wipe off any splattered gasoline.
- Reconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
