Fuel Pressure Control Solenoid: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION OF HIGH TEMPERATURE LINE PRESSURE UP SYSTEM
(With A/C)






1. MEASURE RESISTANCE OF WATER TEMPERATURE SWITCH.
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove water temperature switch from the water outlet.






c. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the switch terminal and switch body.






2. MEASURE RESISTANCE OF VSV (FPU).
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between both terminals.

Resistance: 30 - 50 ohms
