Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair
1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then discharge system refrigerant.
2. Remove front grille, then the front under cover.
3. Remove two upper condenser attaching bolts.
4. Remove two upper radiator attaching bolts, then tilt radiator back.
5. Disconnect discharge tube and retaining clamp from condenser inlet fitting, capping all openings.
6. Remove lower condenser attaching nuts, then the condenser.
7. Reverse procedure to install, then evacuate and recharge system and check for leaks. If condenser was replaced, add 1.4-1.7 oz. of new refrigerant oil to compressor.
