TO: ALL TOYOTA DEALERS AND SERVICE MANAGERS

SUBJECT: SPECIAL CUSTOMER CARE PROGRAM FOR CAMRY - SSC #J02

This information pertains to certain 1983-1986 and early 1987 Camry models that may exhibit a brake pedal pulsation condition.

Toyota will notify by mail 1983-1986 and early 1987 Camry owners of a special policy adjustment to offer and implement remedial measures concerning a possible brake pedal pulsation condition.

You are requested, using the following information, to inspect and repair the vehicles affected by this program including all used vehicles currently in your dealer stock.

If an owner who has not yet received his notification due to the staggered mailing dates of the Camrys involved contacts you or comes into your dealership, examine the vehicle to determine if it is applicable to this special policy, referring to item #4 "Special Policy Adjustment". If the vehicle is applicable to this policy, repair should be performed even if the owner has not yet received the notification.
