Subject: Special Policy Adjustment Program for 1983 Camry


The Special Policy Adjustment for 1983 Camrys experiencing possible brake pedal pulsation was announced in May, 1988. A condition of the program, as explained in the SPA bulletin and customer letter, was that repairs or reimbursements were to be made within 12 months of the notification. For 1983 CAMRY owners, this 12 month period will expire at the end of July, 1989.

In the event that requests for repairs or reimbursements are received beyond the 12-month time limit, the following guidelines will apply:

In addition, the following information must be included:

^ DSM authorization required on all claims (including self-authorized dealers).

^ Category 1: T1 of 55 is required

^ Catenory 2: T1 of 56 is required
