Valve: Locations

On 3S-FE, 3S-GE, 4A-GE, 4A-GEC, 4A-GEL and 4A-GELC engines, intake and exhaust valves are positioned opposite each other, with intake valves on intake manifold side and exhaust valves on exhaust manifold side of cylinder head. On 3E engine, the intake and exhaust valves are inline to one another. In addition, the 3E engine incorporates intake sub-valves.
