DISASSEMBLY

Mark The Original Position:

1. Before removing the crank arm, mark the original position as shown in the illustration.

Lock Plate and Nut:

2. Release the nut by bending away the lock plate with a screwdriver.

Nut, Crank Arm, Rubber Seal and Washers:

3. Remove the nut and disassemble the crank arm, rubber seal and washers.

Cover Plate:

4. Remove the cover plate.

Snap Ring:

5. Remove the snap ring using snap ring pliers.

Terminal Assembly:

6. Remove the terminal assembly with magnet.

Gear Assembly and Thrust Washers:

7. Carefully remove the gear assembly and thrust washers from the housing.

Gear Assembly:

8. Disassemble the gear assembly.
