Vacuum Switching Valve Test

Fig. 21 Vacuum Switching Valve.:

1. Disconnect vacuum hoses and electrical connector from VSV.
2. Blow air through port A on valve and check air flow through port B, Fig. 21.
3. With VSV switched "Off" there should be no air flow through Port B.
4. With VSV energized, there should be air flow through Port B.
5. If there is no air flow, replace vacuum switching valve.
