Fig. 8 Coil spring rear suspension. Corolla rear wheel drive, Cressida, Tercel Wagon w/4 wheel drive & Van w/rear wheel drive:

1. Raise and support rear of vehicle and remove wheels.
2. Remove bolts attaching control arm to rear axle housing, Figs. 8.
3. Remove bolt attaching control arm to frame, then remove control arm from vehicle.
4. Use tool 09710-14010 or equivalent to replace bushings, if necessary.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
