Inspection/Repair/Reimbursement Procedure For SSC #604

Instructions for inspection and repair of 1982/1983 Celica front seat belts to improve the retraction to the stowed position is divided into five sections:

Required Tools: 3/32" wire gauge or drill bit

Required Parts: None

Required Materials: Abrasive (Emery) cloth 9 x 11 sheets, #180 and #400 Duct tape 2" wide

Please obtain these materials from your local supplier. Included in the flat rate time is an allowance of 0.1 hour to cover the cost of these materials.


I. Inspection Procedure

1) Verify that the vehicle is in the VIN range as listed below:

a) Yes: Proceed to Section II.

b) No: No further action required. The vehicle is not affected by this campaign.
