Removal

OIL PAN REMOVAL

1. Remove engine undercover.
2. Drain engine oil into a suitable container.
3. Remove the engine mount bolts.
4. Remove the engine shock absorber.
5. Place a jack under the transmission and raise the engine approx. 25 mm (0.98 in).
6. Remove the 15 bolts and 3 nuts.
7. Using SST 09032-00100 or equivalent, separate the oil pan from the cylinder block.

NOTE: When removing the oil pan, be careful not to damage the oil pan flange.
