2UZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL: HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL
CAUTION:
- The procedures should be performed by at least 2 people.
- Wear protective gloves when removing the exhaust pipe.
- The exhaust pipe is extremely hot immediately after the engine has stopped.
- Confirm that the exhaust pipe has cooled down before removing it.

1. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (for 4WD) Removal

2. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2 2WD)






(a) Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.






(b) Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor.

3. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2 4WD)






(a) Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor.

4. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2)






(a) Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.






(b) Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor.
