WIPER AND WASHER: WASHER MOTOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE WASHER INLET SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Remove the clip.






(b) Pull the washer inlet of the washer jar and pump upward. Then remove it from the windshield washer jar and pump.
3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH Removal

4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RH Removal

5. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER Removal

6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER Removal

7. DRAIN WASHER FLUID
(a) Remove the washer hoses from the windshield washer motor and pump assembly, and drain the washer fluid into a container.






8. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the connectors.
(b) Remove the 3 bolts. Then remove the washer jar and pump.






9. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY
(a) Pull out the washer motor and pump from the packing of the washer jar.






10. REMOVE REAR WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY
(a) Pull out the washer motor and pump from the packing of the washer jar.
