BRAKE: FRONT BRAKE: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY






(a) Hold the front disc brake cylinder slide pins and install the disc brake cylinder assembly with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 34 Nm (347 kgf-cm, 25 ft-lbf)
NOTE: Be sure that the anti-squeal springs are installed to the front disc brake pads.

2. CONNECT FRONT FLEXIBLE HOSE






(a) Connect the front flexible hose with the union bolt and a new gasket to the disc brake cylinder assembly.
Torque: 30 Nm (306 kgf-cm, 22 ft-lbf)
NOTE: Install the front flexible hose lock securely in the lock hole in the disc brake cylinder assembly.

3. FILL BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR Replacement

4. BLEED BRAKE LINE Replacement

5. BLEED BRAKE ACTUATOR Replacement

6. INSPECT FLUID LEVEL On-Vehicle Inspection

7. INSPECT FOR BRAKE FLUID LEAK
8. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
Torque: 103 Nm (1050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)
