Introduction
2008 model year 4Runner vehicles configured with the "Urban Runner" and/or "Off Road" package are equipped with a removable Portable Navigation Display (PND) audio system. The following procedure should be performed during vehicle delivery while customer is present.

Setup Procedure
1. Loosen and remove the PND release button lock screw with a T6 torx driver carefully, making sure not to scratch the PND unit or the dashboard.
NOTE
Using a tool other than the T6 torx driver may damage the PND or vehicle interior.
NOTE
The customer MUST be present in order to continue with Setup Procedure.
2. Press the release button and remove the PND from carrier.
3. Locate the PND materials stored in the center console and remove the SD card from the plastic case.
4. Insert the SD card into the PND card slot located on the bottom of the unit.
5. To complete configuration follow the on-screen prompts and ensure the customer accepts the end-user license agreement by pressing the "I agree" during the final setup step.
NOTE
^ The retail customer MUST be present during setup and push the ~ agree" button to accept the end-user agreement.
