Steering Angle Sensor: Service and Repair

STEERING SENSOR (W/ VSC)

REPLACEMENT
1. REMOVE SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY





2. REMOVE STEERING SENSOR
a. Release 6 claw fittings and remove the steering sensor from the spiral cable.





3. INSTALL STEERING SENSOR
a. Install the steering sensor onto the spiral cable.

NOTICE:
- Engage the claws securely.
- Be careful not to damage the claws.

4. INSTALL SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
