Transmission Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

SPEED SENSOR (A340E)

REPLACEMENT





1. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR
a. Disconnect the speed sensor connector.
b. Remove the bolt and speed sensor.
c. Remove the O-ring from the speed sensor.





2. INSTALL SPEED SENSOR
a. Coat a new O-ring with ATF.
b. Install the speed sensor with the bolt.
Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 inch lbs.)
c. Connect the speed sensor connector.
