ACTIVE TEST

HINT: Performing the ACTIVE TEST using the hand-held tester allows the relay, VSV, actuator and so on to operate without removing any parts. Performing the ACTIVE TEST as a first step of troubleshooting is one of the methods to reduce troubleshooting time.

It is possible to display the DATA LIST during the ACTIVE TEST.

a. Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
b. Turn the ignition switch ON.




c. Perform the "ACTIVE TEST", according to the display on the tester.

HINT: Ignition switch must be turned ON to proceed to Active Test using a hand-held tester.
