SEAT HEATER SYSTEM
INSPECTION
1. INSPECT SEAT HEATER SWITCH CONTINUITY








If the continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.


2. INSPECT SEAT HEATER INDICATOR LIGHT OPERATION





(a) Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 4 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 6.
(b) Push the left and right seat heater HI and LO switches. Check if the indicator lights illuminate.
If operation is not as specified, replace the switch and inspect the circuits connected to other parts.


3. INSPECT SEAT HEATER CUSHION CONTINUITY
(a) Heat the thermostat with a light.








(b) Check the seat heater continuity between terminals.
If the continuity is not as specified, replace the seat cushion pad.

4. INSPECT SEAT BACK CONTINUITY
Check the seat heater continuity between the terminals, as shown in the table below.








If the continuity is not as specified, replace the seat back pad.
