Active Test

ACTIVE TEST

HINT: Performing the ACTIVE TEST using the hand-held tester allows the relay, VSV and actuator to be operated without removing any parts. Performing the ACTIVE TEST as a first step of troubleshooting is one way to shorten labor time.

a. Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
b. Turn the ignition switch ON.
c. Perform the ACTIVE TEST according to the display on the tester.
