Seat Temperature Switch: Testing and Inspection

INSPECT SEAT HEATER SWITCH CONTINUITY
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.








INSPECT SEAT HEATER ASSEMBLY (SEAT CUSHION) CONTINUITY
Inspect the seat heater assembly between terminals, as shown.
If continuity is not as specified, replace the seat heater assembly.









INSPECT SEAT HEATER ASSEMBLY (SEAT BACK) CONTINUITY
Inspect the seat heater assembly between terminals, as shown.
If continuity is not as specified, replace the seat heater assembly.








INSPECT SEAT HEATER ASSEMBLY (SEAT CUSHION) OPERATION
a. Heat the thermostat with a light.
b. Connect the seat cushion and seat back connector.
c. Inspect the seat heater assembly continuity between terminals, as shown.
If continuity is not as specified, replace the seat heater assembly.

a. Heat the thermostat with a light.
b. Connect the seat cushion and seat back connector.
