Catalytic Converter: Service and Repair

REPLACE THREE-WAY CATALYTIC CONVERTER

(a) Jack up the vehicle.
(b) Check that the converter is cool.





(c) Remove the bolts and nuts at the front pipe.
(d) Remove the converter and gasket.
(e) Place new gaskets on the front pipe.
(f) Install and torque the bolt and nuts.

Torque: 48 N.m (490 kgf.cm, 35 ft.lbf)
