Rear Speed Sensor:

REMOVAL

NOTE: If removing the Speed Sensor, be sure to do the following steps.

1. Remove Speed Sensor.

Remove Speed Sensor:

Remove the lock bolt and the Speed Sensor.
Torque 7.8 Nm (69 inch lbs.).

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION: Make sure that:
- There are no foreign objects on the sensor or the part of the knuckle to which the sensor is to be installed.
- The sensor is installed flat against the knuckle when you tighten the bolt.

Install Rear Speed Sensor:

NOTE:
- Using sandpaper or equivalent, remove the paint off the sensor installation portion.
- After installation, check Speed Sensor signal.
- Check that there is no clearance between the sensor and rear axle housing.
