Airbag Sensor Assembly

INSPECTION ITEMS

Airbag Sensor:

1. VEHICLES NOT INVOLVED IN COLLISION
Do a diagnostic system check.

2. VEHICLES INVOLVED IN COLLISION
IF SRS IS NOT DEPLOYED
Do a diagnostic system check.

IF SRS IS DEPLOYED
Replace the airbag sensor assembly.

REPLACEMENT REQUIREMENTS
In the following cases, replace the airbag sensor assembly.
^ If the SRS has been deployed in a collision.
^ If the airbag sensor assembly has been found to be faulty in troubleshooting.
^ If the airbag sensor assembly has been dropped.

NOTICE: For replacement of the center airbag sensor assembly,Refer to Air Bags(SRS)/Testing and Inspection/AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION and be sure to follow the correct procedure.
