Removal and Installation
Front Brake Caliper Components:
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect flexible hose.
Disconnect Flexible Hose:
(a) Remove the union bolt and 2 gaskets from the Caliper, then disconnect the flexible hose from the Caliper.
Torque: 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.)
(b) Use a container to catch the brake fluid as it drains out.
2. Remove Caliper.
Remove Mounting Bolts And Caliper:
Remove the 2 mounting bolts and remove the Caliper.
Torque: 123 Nm (90 ft. lbs.)
3. Remove these parts:
Remove Clip And Pins:
(a) Clip.
(b) 2 pins.
(c) Anti-rattle spring.
(d) 2 pads.
(e) 4 anti-squeal shims.
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal, noting the following:
- bleed brake system. Service and Repair
- Check for leaks.
